Keystone & Kin

As a keystone species, the gopher tortoise creates burrows that countless other Florida animals depend on for shelter and survival. Rendered in a bold, vintage-inspired style, this artwork captures the interconnectedness of Florida’s wildlife and the vital role one species can play in supporting an entire ecosystem.

Old Florida Vibes is the creative work of Florida native Hunter Turner and his wife, Chelsea, inspired by their love of Florida’s landscapes, wildlife, and distinctive culture. Through photography, illustration, writing, and design, they capture the character of the Florida they know and love.
